Paver driveway rebuild

I have had two paver driveways redone to accommodate the growth of existing trees. Fidel and crew did beautiful work. They completely pulled up the pavers, reconfigured the level, and placed every paver back with great care. I can’t recommend this company enough for their great work.

We had Western Paver and Design redo our backyard, including a retaining wall and extending our patio to create more usable outdoor space and it turned out absolutely perfect! It’s been two years since the project was completed, and everything still looks exactly like the day it was finished. Wonderful experience working with Western Paver Design! Austin was very helpful with the entire process from quote through final walk through until we checked all the boxes. German and his team were hardworking, friendly, and skilled. German’s craftsmanship and design aesthetic really shined with a custom latching gate under the deck, framed lattice panels, and the picture framing on the deck. Love the permeable pavers to help with my drainage issues and all the quality materials and construction. This is a major upgrade to my house and I’m pleased with the investment. Artificial turf

We are so happy with are new artificial turf lawn. We always had problems with keeping our lawn green over the years as the sun hits it all day long. Joe suggested artificial turf, explained the process, and showed us a sample of the product. His crew showed up on time, and worked really hard at making sure we were happy with everything. Dan, the project manager, was extremely helpful, and checked up on the progress each day, and when it was finished. Herringbone paver driveway

Our neighbors redid their driveway recently, and it was so beautiful we asked them who they used. It was Western Paver Design. So we gave them a call and Dan Mackenzie along with Roger and his team came out to our place, demoed our driveway and walkway, and installed a beautiful paver herringbone design. 80 ft retaining wall

Western Paver Design just replaced roughly 80 feet of retaining wall. They did an excellent job. They actually over built it. It’s twice as sturdy/stable as the prior one and I’m pretty sure that it could even withstand an earthquake. The finish design is very nice and they clean everything up and are extremely respectful of the property.

Stamp concrete is where we use a specific stamp as the concrete starts to dry to give the appearance of a stone/slate look or a look that incorporates lines throughout the new concrete pour. Stamped Concrete FAQs

How is stamped concrete different from regular concrete?

It's the same slab, textured and colored while still workable to imitate stone, slate, brick or wood plank. You get one continuous surface with a patterned look, at a cost that typically falls between plain concrete and natural stone, plus the strength and durability of a standard pour.

Does stamped concrete need sealing?

Yes, and it isn't optional if you care how it looks. Sealer protects the color and texture from water, sun and wear, and it needs to be reapplied periodically. How often depends on exposure, foot and vehicle traffic and the product used, and we'll recommend an interval.

Is stamped concrete slippery when wet?

It can be, especially with a smooth pattern and a glossy sealer. Where the surface will be walked on wet, such as pool decks, steps and shaded patios, a non-slip additive in the sealer is the usual answer, and it's worth specifying up front rather than adding later.

What patterns and colors does stamped concrete come in?

Common patterns imitate slate, flagstone, cobblestone, brick and wood plank, and a contrasting border can frame the field. Color usually comes from a base color mixed into the concrete plus a release agent that leaves darker highlights in the texture. We'll walk through the options on site.

Can cracked stamped concrete be repaired?

Often, though a perfect match is hard. Hairline cracks can be cleaned, filled and sealed with a tinted sealer that helps them blend, and faded color can be refreshed. Wide cracks or sunken sections usually mean the base moved, and replacing that section is the lasting fix.

How do I clean moss off stamped concrete?

Moss starts where shade and debris hold moisture, so sweep often and scrub problem areas with a soft brush and a cleaner made for sealed concrete. Keep a pressure washer on low at a safe distance, since high pressure can strip sealer and color.

What happens during a stamped concrete installation?

Excavation, base compaction and forms come first. On pour day we place and finish the concrete, add color and release agent, then stamp the pattern while it's still workable. That window is short, so we schedule around the forecast. Cleaning and sealing follow once it cures.

What affects the cost of stamped concrete?

Mostly size and design. Borders, detailed patterns and multiple colors take more labor than a single pattern and color, and removing old concrete, base preparation and site access count too.
